im new to the tuner world trucks all my life. i bought a 05 g35, a little while ago (standard) and just recently i was rolling through a stop sign in 2nd, as i turned and tried to accelerate it dogged out, just thought i was just because it was in 2nd so i put it into 1st, still no gain in rpm's and sitll felt like it was dogging out, i looked at the dash when i pulled off in to a parking lot it said "VDC OFF" and "slip" i tried to push the VDC button to see if it would come back on, no luck. plus the "service engine soon" light turned on. i turned off the car waited a minuet, turned it back on and the signs were off but the service engine. WTF? any info would be cool and possible solutions.

I started in 2nd by accident once in my cobra and it bogged down and immediately set off the SES light. Was not a problem for me. I reset the light and it never came on again. Codes were also erased.

How is it running now??

Check brake fluid levels first. Then have the code pulled.

One of the two is the likely cause.

You can follow the gas pedal ECU reset procedure as well...see if that helps.

Sounds like it probably is the TB or the brake fluid though.
