Yesterday my boi and I installed my Ac compressor, condenser, blahblah all the component. Today my teacher and I was putting the freon in it, luckly there's no leak no nothing, it holds vaccumm and pressure but the bad news is when everything was finish we found out that the condenser fan is not working. So i went to autozone to get one and now i got to take off my bumper and go thru the front becuase i can't disconnect none of the AC line..but the fan is in the front anyway. I hope it works after i instal the AC becuase it's just soo hot here in nyc..and i cant' stand heat.

glad I got a 93 and it was set up to r134 (or whatever it is) from the factory. I freeze on the highway when I actually have my ac turned on...but windows do a better job...especially going 80.

my a/c works alright, i just cant use it b/c the electrical fan shroud:confused: is broke or something along those line....the air blows out cold and everything, just im not supposed to use it while im driving b/c if i hit a bump the shroud thing hits the fan i think, b/c it makes like a real high pitch grinding sound

my a/c doesn't work too well... I'm gunna get my friends dad to recharge my freon. (he own an a/c company)

I prefer windows, a/c compressor sucks away too much precious acceleration power.

Hey JustAnother240Sx how hard was it to replace the compressor? I haven't found much on how or how easy it is to do.

Not hard, for me; i jacked up the car so i can go thru from the bottom to bolt down the compressos because there's too much stuff from the top. You gotta remove the powersteering and alternator belt to put on the AC belt, then just set tension and install all the belts again.

I've got AC now but looking at my new manifold and turbo, I'm not sure if it will be in the way or not. Maybe I can get some custom lines made up.... Damn that's gonna suck, sort of....

Yeah, I need the ac compressor hose, that's about it. It's too hot, I better get it fixed quick!

Do you know how many bolts there are to the compressor to unbolt it off and on? Also did you have to drain any freon or anything? Thanks for the info.
