i just bought this car from a guy here in the denver co area and the car has a ticking in it and i went to do a oil change on this car the ticking stopped for a day and now it is starting to come back...i put in thicker oil to see if that would helped and like i said it help for a bit does this sound like a week oil pump to any of you guys... i am new to the z family

Welcome to Nico, I'm gonna have to guess the tick is maybe a cracked exhaust manifold, this is a common problem on the VG's and the lifters in the VG are solid and not hydraulic so it's not likely they are the problem, you should have an oil pressure gauge to alert you of any oil pressure issues
