Hey guys I'm an RB guy so I'm from the other side of the forum BUT I got my hands on a set of stock z32 turbos in perfect condition with less the 10k on them as well as a set of HKS upgraded turbos that were installed on a 650hp 300zx and ran for less then a week when they started to smoke. the HKS's feel perfect but I'm not expert. ANyways I will post pics soon or as requested but looking for some info on both. I need to know the max psi the stockers will hold and any info available on the HKSs (which there is no model number i can find) Also these are for sale make me and offer if interested Thanks guys!

Stock turbos are good for about 20psi even though they're not really efficient over 18. They can make approximately 400whp on a Z32 with all the supporting goodies.

As for the HKS ones, I'd need to see detailed pictures to deciper which they are. I might also be interested in those if they're solid and the price is right (nothing wrong with having a spare set).

Anyway, if you have any questions Z32 related feel free to hit me up.

What would be a good asking price for the stockers in perfect condition?

Interested in the stockers perhaps shortly hear in the future. Cars in the shop and had the transmission redone and an rps max clutch put in and now mysteriousely having boost problems. Search my posts if you have any ideas and leave some info...itd be appreciated. But if my turbos are going some new ones fast would be stellar. thanks.

correct but they're small t25's, they're not exactly the same as say the t25's on the s13 red tops.

Note - Stock turbos (the T25) has ceramic section which I heard had a max of 16psi and has a tendancy to fail at anything beyond that point. Stock actuators actually won't reach very high levels of boost as they have stock limitations. But 20psi would be attainable with a little tinkering but would not be safe...more of a ticking timebomb.

On the HKS turbo, you'll need to ID them. HKS had the GT2530 which is a very popular upgrade for the Z32 setup. Can be either 16g or upgraded sometimes to 20g and it will be tagged the "disco potato". But still....need more information or even a pic and we can be a little more helpful.

correst not all T25's are created equal, and neither are T3's or any other turbo, what matters is the lbs/min and the ve map, the lbs min total is related to how much power you can expect, a pair of 25 lb/min turbo's will flow enough for about 500 hp (crank of course) and you want to stay in the peak efficience range on the ve maps
