Me and Mark(B11sentra) have been trying to get the Cat off my Laser to clean it out and put it back on, only problem is the wrenches aren't working and was wondering if any one knew what size of wrench or certain tool to take it off with or something that will work??

The 17mm wrench is too tight and the 18mm wrench is loose and does nothing  I'm just seeing maybe by chance someone might know what would work to take it off. My car takes off crappy and the cat is making it worse. :( little help plz??

Yeah...my thoughts exactly. Right between 17mm and 18mm is 11/16" .669"<.6875"<.709".

Are the studs or nuts rusted? If so hit it with some PB blaster (or whatever the hell that shiat is called) and let it set for a while... then try the appropriate size standard (ASE) wrench on it. If that doesnt work... cut it off with a grinder and put new bolts on after.

Yeah the bolts are rusted underneath there. We sprayed some wd40 on it and let the car run a bit. Finally a day that isnt raining so going to try again today on it. I cant grind it or anything b/c we have nothing like that. Hopefully I can figure out something for it. :)

hint for when you get the right sized bolt....i just put a new exhaust on my car from the cat bac and when i went to unbolt the pipe from the cat it wouldn't budge, so i put the socket wrench on the bolt and let it hang down and got out from under the car and put my feet under the other way and kicked it a couple time to get the bolts unscrewed, worked like a charm:)

No I dont have to worry about emissions around here. Didnt get a chance today b/c I worked today. If its not raining guess try to mess with it again and try the 11/16 wrench out and go from there. Here at my house we dont have **** to work with, a few tools is about it. Might call up a friend of mine and get some tools off her b/f since he's done a few things to my car before. Not sure yet though.

I now know that my car will beat a honda prelude. Some dork head in it pulled up at redligh beside us and reved up his car, lets say he saw the back of my car and yes I'll mention Mark was driving. :D I would have beat him if I was driving as well.
