The motor which switches your air/heat from your feet, to your face, defrost, etc. quit working and needing to know where to locate it so I can pluck it off the parts car. It really sucks b/c its been cold in the mornings here. Thats not a good thing for it to quit now. lol Its stuck in the face/feet.

If anyone knows where the motor for that is located is greatly apprecitated.:D

btw, this is on "Red"(the 240)

it's located on the left side of the heater unit.

if you're sitting in the drivers seat, it's located to the right of the accelerator just a little higher than where your ankle would be if you had your foot on the pedal. if you look down there, you can see the tail end of it sticking out past the side panel.

hope this helps.

They're picky as hell, I dunno what it is, but I wouldn't suggest hitting it with a hammer. If you have the parts car do try and replace it. It's easy to locate and even easier to replace, you can take off the paneling if you want.

Haven't had the time yet to fix it but believe me it will get fixed soon. I took a blanket last night and covered up the windshield because I didn't feel like scraping frost.

Yesterday morning I poured water on the windshield thinking it will work like always, but I guess it was a little colder b/c the water turned to ice on the windshield. So for now on until I get that part off the car she'll be covered up every night. :D

I'll pass on the hammer and beating it up. lol Besides the button being stuck, the control for switching it to cold to heat likes to stick too. I guess the car is saying she's cold and wants heat. :pface

Thanks for the help, it works just fine again. Turns out the motor was dead for it and got the one out of the parts car and plugged it in. No more foggy/frosty windows anymore.

If we would have thought about it, would have took pics and posted up how to fix it but didn't think about it until it was done. oh well...

anyways, thanks again demcj. :)
