alright well the other day i was driving and i noticed a noise......its definitely coming from the engine, its sort of a rattle/ ticking noise......the noise only starts when i am in gear, doesnt matter which gear...just as long as i am in gear, and only when the engine is rev'd above 2000 rpms, now if i let off throttle and the rpms are still above 2000 you do not hear it. The noise only starts when your on throttle above 2000 rpms, im not sure what the noise is...i was thinking maybe it has something to do with the timing chain? Oh and by the way ive had no problems with the driveability of the vehicle aside from the noise, it still accelerates fine and smooth as usual.....just looking to see if anyone has a clue.....thanks guys

You might have to adjust the valve lash.

yeah valve lash is the first thing I'd check, the chain has a tensioner located behind the timing cover, when you pull the cam cover check your lash and make sure the timing guides arefirmly in place and not loose and that the chain itself doesn't have any slack
