got a Q45 with missing nav player, need help!

i own a used car dealership, recently i bought a 02 q45 with factory navigation (7" screen) from the auction.

the navigation/screen on the car does not turn on at all, i tested the screen on another 02 q45 (with no navigation and the 5" screen) and the screen worked fine, then i noticed the navigation player in the trunk is missing

now here is my problem, i tried looking on ebay and i cant find the navigation player for the same year, they have one for the 04 model but i dont know if that would work????

also is there possibly a way to get the system working without navigation? (i can get any parts from a q45 without navigation)

If the screen worked on another 02 Q45 without NAV, then it is probably not OEM. The OEM screens of cars with NAV are not compatible. Might be that control panel was replaced with one out of a car with NAV. I would double check for the proper wire connectors in the trunk.

both screens have the same kind of plugs, and both of them are the factory equiped screen, i beleive the only difference is just the size, but i tried both screens on the car without nav and they both showed the same thing.

That is interesting, I'll have to recheck the FSM again. I've seen nav units for sale on ebay from time to time. The NAV unit was unique to Infiniti.

Are all the other display functions ok? Just wondering.
