I was looking for something with a little more trunk space than my motorcycle. I found a great little car, it's economical and cute.zerothread/274002

Ok, did you do this just spite me? seriously?! I want the red one with the totally 80s white stripe down the side. pack it up, put it on a boat, send it my way. You have five, Tim has none. You have too many, Tim has too few. See where I'm going with this? I am serious though, one of these days I am going to need to pay you handsomely to send me one of those r30s. Preferably the starsky and hutch mobile, because dammit its just that freaking awesome. You keep engine and transmission, Tim gets rusted out shell, you get paid.

Edit: The white RS is freaking hot too. congrats on the steal!

I'm waiting for 2010 when I can import a 1985 R31 Skyline (not the 91hp CA18i though). Do you know what years they made the red and black GTS-X's?

Sorry, but whats stopping you from importing one now? You just wont be able to drive it legally, which in NC is probably not a problem.

I still want that car, anyone you want me to kill? Just point a finger and they're dead.

I'm not going to risk sneaking a "skyline" through customs. Ever since the Motorex thing I've heard they have started looking a bit more closely at what people are bringing in.

After 25 years you can import anything and register it as a classic car....no emissions checks, etc. and get it titled legally and drive it. Until then the car does me no good because I have no room to store something I cant drive around legally and I wouldnt want to "track" the car because I dont want to mess it up.

In NC all cars OBD1 have safety inspection only, OBD2 is safety and emissions. "Classic cars" probably are just safety inspection if that.

You need to go check that S12, I e-mailed you a link. The S12 chassis is a stateside visitor so body and suspension parts are available at least.
