Got a new header but have problems!!!!

So i bought a 4-1 header and downpipe for my 92 nissan. I went to put it on and the egr valves would not match up! Do i need these valves and just plug them up or will i have to customize the pipes to make them pit. If so how do i customize them. Because both the valve that goes to my header and the valve that goes to my downpipe dont fit! But Thanks!

Heh welcome to the world of cheap "universal" headers, I have a set of those as well. I have yet to put it on, just because I don't have the proper tool to clamp the EGR tube untill I find the block off plate.... But to answer your question Anything you find connected to your mainfold/header, you dont "need", at least not for your car to run... But if your state has emissions inspections, you'll get

Was that a sarcastic question? If not the answer is no, nor do you need the EGR crap. It's all emissions. The only time you need it, is if you live in a state that requires you have it on your car. NO your not supposed to tamper with any of that stuff, but.. If your state doesn't have emissions checks, then your in the clear.
