I envy you. I would love to have a fresh coat of paint and good thick clear coat to polish up. Mine is getting pretty thin and detailing it can only go so far before getting into paint. You had the spoiler painted at the same time too right?

Damn that's nice man!

I thought something was wrong with the paint, until I realized it was the clouds from the reflection. lol

thanks man, but the car was painted about 5 years ago from a collision that i had. a woman rearended me with a truck, thankfully these guys were able to work their magic and put her back right again. nah i dont mind telling you how much it cost mem but i dont think you really will like what im gonna say..hehe... the guy who painted it was the owner of the bodyshop and a very good close personal friend of mine.. he doesnt paint anymore for a living but his skills as a painter are truely unreal. so i asked him if he would mind squaring my car away, and he replied "its red i'd love to." this man took all the extra steps to make the paint job right almost an entire week of hand sanding the car to get it ready for painting. as far as the cost is concerned, all i had to do is to pay for the cost of the paint which was like $300.00. another buddy of mine who is also on this forum MeanGreenS13, he works for a body shop too and he saw the car in person and called me up to pretty much cuss me and said thats a $8-10,000.00 paint job i just got..lol...

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO MEE!!!!!

If you dont mind me asking why did they blend up the sail panel and not paint the roof, and not paint the rockers? Otherwise it looks awesome! How much did you pay for a "full" paint job? Just wondering because i paint cars so i just wanna see where everyone else is at!

ill let you find out from mark what he paid. I work at a body shop right down the street from that one. But the reason they blended up the sails was because he had the roof painted about 3 months ago with the front bumper, and mirror. So its all the same paint. now.

A few years back the whole car was painted with OMNI and it had just started to flake the clear off the top surfaces, I brought it to his attention that it should be covered under PPG Warantee and he went in and sure enough 90% of it was. So i guess theres most of your answer.

the care, time, bodywork and paint prep that went into this car, would run the average joe 7500$ easily... this is a top notch job

well thats definitely the WORST thing you can do for a new paint job is wax it... the solvent's are still evaporating, generally takes up to 30 days, if you wax it and trap those solvents, your paintjob can bubble up and look like dog**** forever...
