you might as well buy a fully built one. Itll save you tons of money being that people never get what they put into them.

Idk about corvettes and what not. Id rather a 240 anyday. But 22,000 is more then enough. what ever floats your boat. Id buy a built one tho. You would really save tons. If its a project you want. Find a clean 240sx. and just start upgrading =)

If you shop smart you could easily build and rb26 240. I would switch the rear end to a 300zxtt and get a kaaz 1.5 or 2 way in the housing (reason being even race axles aren't as strong as the z32 ty or q45) get all the arms in the back upgraded to handle the power and of coarse a one piece driveline. The front there are arms you can also replace or just do a bushing kit. A set of decent coilovers ...which is easily debated what brand. And my personal favorite a full race twin schroll Turbo kit and supporting fuel mods (oops there goes 10,000$) lol. Be realistic about your goals. And blueprint the car before you start buying parts. If you build a full built motor meant for 1000 HP on race gas and realistically want to daily drive it and d!ck around on the weekends there is money to be saved. Example ...why install sleeves if the motor will never see that much power. Maybe if you said "these are my goals" instead of " I have money" we can assist you with your project. Also are you doing all the work? If not than you really only have 11,000$.

To hell with "undergroundedness," spend it on the most expensive parts you can find. And even if you can get the same stuff for cheaper somewhere else, make sure you get it from the place that has the most advertising so you can have the most bragging rights at car shows.

Anyone notice he joined 3 days ago and has a stock 240 and hasn't replied once? I put money down saying he doesn't do squat with this car. This isn't technical this is a general topic.

If your doing the swap yourself then you have enough to do a RB26dett, if your having someone do it then trust me you will have a very tight budget.

I did a RB26DETT into my Vert and because I didn't have a place or tools to do it, I had to put it into a shop. It's done but after everything I spent over $35,000, roughly $10,000 on labor including all the extras (a/f, turbo timer, yada yada), the rest on parts and such but my list was a big list.

I love the car and it's awesome but just know and plan WAY ahead of time.
