I friend was doing something around my car and it involved krazy glue and he got some on the side of my car. It's not noticeable until it's close up but it kinda looks like a scratch. It isn't coming out with regular water, or warm water. Maybe if I take it to a car wash..I was thinking about using goo gone will that help?

I'm open for suggestionss.

Acetone (nail polish remover) will definitely remove it. First test it on an inconspicuous part of the paint (under the bumper or side skirts) first because sometimes it can have some adverse effects on clear coat (especially when doing multiple applications). I would try peeling it off of the paint using your nail first, it shouldn't stick to the clear coat very well.

for some reason i see the spoiler ripping off the trunk while im flying down the freeway if it's only stuck on there with 3m tape. i could be wrong, but it would scare the heck out of me knowing that was how my spoiler was attached

Sorry, new guy here. We use 3M VHB tape every day at work. We hang stuff off of the sides of skyscrapers.....the right stuff for the job...... probably holds together for 20 years (thats how long we guarentee our work for).

Holding on a spoiler, if prepped correctly..... no problem.

Yeah 3m tape is very strong. 3m tape has been holding my eyelids and my chrome handles. Its on pretty tight and it wont be falling off.

3M made a demonstration where they joined 2 train cars or the engines together with their tape, and one towed the other...

really? i guess they have made a good few advancements in adhesiveness since the last time i used double sided sticky tape to hang posters. i still dont know if i would trust it at high speeds though. there are a lot of abusive conditions i would be too weary about. sweet if it really works though
