Haha, my coworker's got a taser she flaunts (yeah, flaunts. She's one of those annoying "I'm a defenseless little woman" kind of women. Can't stand it).

Anyway, She left it at the office one time, and my friend and I zapped each other. DAMN

Most effective is basically the path of most resistance. A "perfect" hit with the Taser is one in the lower leg, and one in the upper torso, opposite sides.

I've already been Tased, and hit with Pepperballs (MSU riot for the pepperballs), so I'm not too worried. I'll take getting Tased anyday. While it hurts like all hell, once it's done, you're fine. OC Spray lasts FOREVER. The oil base doesn't wash out.

Yes it does. Funny story: I may have already posted this up before, but what the heck.

I was helping my friend clean out his patrol car when he jumped ship from the city we both use to work for to the county I work for (he went back to the city). Anyway, we run across some OC goodies in his trunk. Two 12 gauge gas rounds and a gas grenade. He picked them up while doing training with the department of corrections. His sgt teachs rookie school and doc man tracking and he helps him out. So he gets goodies when they go up to do tracking exercises.

Anyway, we decided to try one of them. We originally wanted to use the gas grenade but decided that may not be a good ideal. But we figured the 12 gauge round would be fun. Grabbed the shot gun and headed around back of his house.

So he loads the round up, and fires it at a brick wall. BOOM! and then nothing. No cloud or mark on the wall, nothing. Well, that sucked. So we start around the house, and he hollars UHHH! I am like what the hell is wrong with you, and then I hollar! We had walked right through the cloud of OC.

We staggered out into the front yard, coughing and gaging. Snot was dripping out my nose, and my throat nose and eye lids felt like they were literly on fire. All this and we were laughing our butts off at our own stupidity.

Man those were the days. Anyway Nchopp, good luck, and may the force be with you. Or maybe that is backwards, may you be with the force.

I'm confused Chopper...

You are a succesful TV producer... Which I understand is a well paying and promising job. Plus at such a young age, you should be excited about a career in that field.

Plus, your a fireman...

Studying to be an EMT...

Going to be a cop now as well...

Are the civil service jobs part time? Are you giving up TV? Help me figure this out.

Well, the TV job ISN'T well-paying, but you know, such is life. Pay isn't the biggest deal to me, and personally, I get kind of tired of all the backstabbing you get in media. Which I think is why I find public safety jobs so rewarding - a lot more working together, as opposed to trying to get ahead at all costs. As to studying for EMT, it's just for the Fire Department, I'm not gonna be doing any ambo work. The Police Department is going to be Reserve - 14 hours a month or so. If a fulltime job opens up with either, I'm pretty sure I'd go for it. I'm sick of the TV rat race...

Our PD actually has a surprising amount of hot cops. Most female cops are pretty bushly, but we've got a few that are pretty damn cute.

Getting tazed sucks... Back in Saudi I worked as a cop for a while and we got to take turns getting hit with the gun. Luckily the prong doesnt hurt at all to remove cause your skin is all messed up from the gun

Its all about the bean bag shot gun... Nothing says "stop" like a swift close range shot to the gut/face by bean bag flying at 150 mph...

NICO has a policy against trolling, and finding ancient threads to bump for personal insults are the epitome of said trolling. Knock it off.

I had the second best time on the Physical Agility Test, lost to an ex-Marine. Don't worry about "Poor Chopp". DJ being a douchenozzle isn't overly worrisome to me. Seems to be SOP.

Then don't be so sensitive about you're height. It was just a friendly jab.
