I found a seller on eBay that was selling the Borla exhaust about $250 cheaper than I've seen around the net, so I jumped on it. I'll be picking up the Racingline Performance Y-pipe in the near future also. Perhaps have my local exhaust shop make a different mid-pipe too but I'm not sure if its worth it.

The system was delivered in 3 days. Ridiculously fast, so I'm quite happy with the service. I'm even more thrilled about the sound of the Borla. Very throaty but not overpowering, absolutely no drone inside, gives off a great tone from the VQ engine that is music to my ears.

There is my mini review, I know there aren't many threads about the Borla so I figured I'd throw it up here. I wasn't too happy with the Stillen Cat-back I purchased a couple years ago for my other Coupe so this is definitely an improvement.

For those of you interested in buying one from the seller, here is their eBay store: http://stores.ebay.com/Titan-Motorsports?_rdc=1

I always loved the tips of the Borla. It was my 2nd choice but I went with Nismo due to it sounding slightly more "import" from what I gathered. So I've never heard of anyone doing anything with a mid pipe on their car. What were you thinking of with that?

Since this is only an axle back, I could always get a new piece of piping made between the y-pipe and the muffler section that is of a bigger diameter. Borla says its not worth it but we'll see what happens. From what I can see the stock piping is not really that restrictive, the flat section that most people indicate as a cause for concern really isn't that bad. I mean what are you going to get out of it 1-2 horsepower?

The seller had the item up for $500 + shipping. Total was $530.

If he doesn't have one up there just send them an email.

I did. Didn't like it much. I like the look and the sound of the single muffler design instead.

Wish I would have known about this at the beginning of April. . . . Hope you enjoy, the rumble it gives will offset the price you paid(even though you got it for $200 less you lucky $!@#$)

shift you lucky guy! titanmotorsports reply to my e-mail:
Dear <ebay username>,

I don't have anymore. I had them posted at that price to get rid of what I had in stock, so I wouldn't put them up at that price again.

Thanks

I'll try to get a video. Its funny, I had no smell at all from mine. You put your Y-pipe on at the same time as the Borla right? I wonder how much of a difference in sound the Y-pipe will make.

Thats a good question, we might be able to compare, but all I have is a $@#ty camera so who knows if it can pick up any sound difference. I did have the Y pipe installed 1 day before the borla, but only took it for a short 1/2 mile ride to make sure that there weren't any leaks before installing the borla.
