so soon im going to be embarking on the great sr20det swap into s13 hatch. im thinking about buying an engine and transmission from tigerjapanese.com. is this a good idea? anyone have any good or bad feedback about them. and also i have never done an engine swap before. so it wouldnt be wrong to say i havent much clue what im doing. is this task impossible for someone like me to do?

thanks in advance for opinions and help, flaming encouraged.

I dont know anything about them but if you cant see it running in person your taking a risk! find a local place if you can so you can check fluids, turbo play, oil pan damage check everything you would be suprised what you can find out about a motor by looking at the sparkplugs! I ordered mine from nagasaki motors for $1800 shipped to my door. The shipping company broke the wireharness/ ecu/oil pan on top of the turbo being locked up and the clutch and flywheel fried! the wiring is the hard part the rest is just a bunch of parts bolted together
