First question is hopefully the easiest to figure out, and also has the least impact on the car.

I have 2 rear hub bearings the have a flange cut and ground off of them. It is my understanding that the tab has something to do with the stock e-brake. What would cutting it off accomplish/why would it be done? Pictures below for reference.

Second question is more difficult and I will take pictures later this week to help in finding a solution. As some of you know my car is fully caged, which has a built in mounting point for a harness behind the driver (This will be duplicated for the passenger side as well). The issue is that where I live, you need to have a factory belt in the car which I don't know how I can put back in.

These are my options/hurdles:
My doors are completely gutted, no mounts for factory door belts.
Cage/intrusion bars would be in the way of using a door mounted belt.
IIRC 94+ had body mounted belts which would solve that issue.
Main hoop runs in that same area as well. Will take pics with measurements to find if this is the case
Does a '90 shell have the mounting locations for 94+ belts?

Thanks again in advance everyone!

I can't think of any reason for shaving the bracket other than weight reduction, since this was a competitive racing series.

And the seat belts, I'm not sure if there are mounting points or not, but I wouldn't think there would be. There was no reason to consider body mounting on the early models, so I wouldn't think so. Idk about retrofitting either, as I don't know what kind of chassis bracing may or may not have been added, and I no longer own a 93+ to check differences.

One option I thought of for the belts is to have mounts welded into place on the cage. I'd have to check with the local cops to see if they would ticket me for that kind of thing or not. Don't see why it wouldn't be just as safe doing it that way.
