got a clicky noise comeing from the j!!! to me it sounds like an old 350 chevy i had that had loose rockers!!! or my 90 sho that had valve lash!!!big job on a sho when you do it yourself and looks even bigger job on the j more stuff to rmove intake!!!)do the j,s have to get valve lash done(shimmed)??? or could it be like i said loose rockers!!!it only does it at idle and low speed the faster i get it goes away!!! any idea or segestions would be great thanks kevin

Sounds like your engine solenoids. Somewhat common up here in the northern climes.

do you mean the coils??? on the spark plug wires??? if not where are the solinoids located at and how do i rull them out?????

Beleieve me its your solenoids. I've had to replace mine some years ago. I think every J owner in Canada has had to replace them at one point or another. The clicking will get much louder. Let me see if I can locate you a diagram. Unfortunatly fuzzycats.com is down.

These go bad on the Z32s from time to time, apparently you can use the Q45 ones on the J.

Theyre located on the front of the valve cover.

the only solenoid i can find at everything nissan is Fuel system - Fuel induction - Fuel injection - Fast idle solenoid!!!!is this the one or sometrhing else thanks
