Well, you'd get better advice from the SR20 guys. Most guys in this forum don't have to much experience with the SR or what turbo's would be a good upgrade. I can tell you the you'll need a new manifold and downpipe for that turbo. The SR has a T2 flanged manifold so the T3 won't fit.

That turbo will also be pretty laggy on the SR. The T3/TO4E with a .48AR would be a much better choice. Look around for a T28 or variant there of. Search for "the disco potato". Sounds funny but it's been deamed one of the best upgrades for the SR and it will bolt right on to the stock manifold.

Hows the weather over on Oki? I was stationed at Kadena from 99-04...wish I never left sometimes.

I had 2 Skylines, both R32 GTS-t's. Quite a few of the guys in my unit talked me into the Skyline when I got there. I kinda wish I got into the SR a little more then I did, just for the experience. That and I could have shipped like 10 back with me...lol.

One of my cars was towed to Kinser...lol.

Here's a Disco Potato aka GT28RS, available in all kinds of trims from this dealer. Expensive though, because it's a ball bearing center. If you find a non ball bearing turbo with similar specs it will only cost $500 to $700 new.

Just for some comfort.I've ordered both of my turbo's from that guy. Both legit Garretts. Came exactly as ordered. He gave me a break on the 2nd one. I guess it was only fair since I dropped 2,300 bucks between the two of them. lol

One thing I will advise. Think about what you want to do with your car. DONT get a turbo because you got a deal on it. Get it for how you want to drive your car. I learned the hard way, and I'm still not happy. And I refuse to drop another 1k+ on yet another ball bearing turbo.

Ok, I'm done. I feel better...

Sad thing is you could have been happy for a one time investment of $550...lol. T3/TO4E .48AR hotside, 50 trim compressor = still the reigning champ when you want maximum bang for your buck. I think this makes the 10,000th time I've said so...

Or spend $2400 to learn what exhaust reversion is
