Got a boat load of stuff done

Pics are coming Monday. I just got my: Tails blacked out (turn signal part clear), the red frame around the tail is now covered in carbon fibre. I got the front two windows tinted, my hid fogs installed, and the third brake light now says INFINITI when it lights up. More stuff being done on monday, il post pics once its all completed. I just couldnt resist telling you guys.

yea. My front tints are too dark, I cant see out of them at night lol. Il get them redone Monday. Pics soon!

20, which is I guess what the OEM's are. Its more like 10 though, its way too dark

It isnt, if you live in a highly lit area. I live in the middle of no where, so it's impossible to see my mirrors since their not lit up by street lamps

mines 20 and when i get out in areas with no light i role the window down to see better. the factory tint on the back is 35% right? because mine look much lighter than the 20 on my front windows

I'm going to guess around 14.3bhp at the wheels. Just imagine how much weight has just been removed, crazy.

EDIT: I did 5% all the way around and yeah it's dark but it looks badass!

everyone seems to get VHT nite shade and a clear coat for the tails. i got the tint for the headlights on ebay pre-cut

Yes I know. Rice Rice Rice. No, it doesnt look ricey at all, and looks AMAZING. Pics today, and they used VHT Niteshades. You aren't supposed to clear coat it because thats what makes it Matte and nasty looking.

Fafdawg..where did you get your HID bulbs from?? Are they a plug n play with your stock ballasts? Also where did you get your HID fogs light done? I noticed you're in Woodbridge, VA. which I'm very close to you, I'm right up in Arlington, you're bout 20min away from me and if you picked them up at a tuner shop, let me know. I like how you're headlights look. They have a nice shade of white/purple. That's the color I want. Another would be nice if you could help me out with the tailights, I love that look. Different.

ummm, did you really put carbon fibre vinyl over your "amber corner lights" as you call them? Im not familiar with QX's but arent those your "blinkers" also? or are the only blinkers the orange bulbs below?

In this pic it looks like they put a film on and didn't apply it evenly or cut it wrong. How much did you pay someone to do these things for you? Is you 3rd brake light an actual hard cutout or a sticker? I'm sure it looks like it says infiniti in person but from the pic it looks like infiniii. Personally none of this is my style but I'm not you and this is not my car. Hope you like it!

yeah those would look a hell of a lot better as clear corners in my opinion... Same with the fogs ( I got rid of those little orange circles)

If people are always thinking the parking light is the turn signal, wtf do they think the amber lens in the fog light is for?

Nala, personally, I don't care for the 'infiniti' on the third brake, but the rest doesn't look half bad.

the earlier qx4's had round amber lenses in the fog lights, which were not turn signals, so it could be confusing....
