Ok so I have a big problem with my lighting system. I have a 06 M45 sport. When I turn on the car and switch on the lights the headlights and fog lights turn on but nothing else. Only my nav screen and my gauge cluster lights up. The lights for everything on the middle console, steering wheel lights, tail lights (when I don't press on the brakes), and driving lights do not turn on when I turn on the light lever to any of the positions. When it gets dark out, my car's headlight is the only illumination unless i press on my brakes.

Please Help

If it is an 06 you should still be under warranty. This sounds like you need a trip to the dealer to me. Lighting issues can be tricky.

I went to the dealership and they said they can't fit me in until the day after Christmas which is over a week away. I was hoping I can fix it before then cause I'm bound for an accident or a traffic ticket if I drive around at night with no lights in the back

Hello,Being in Chicago, you should have multiple dealer options. I have actually continued using a dealer 30 miles further because they fit me in rather than tried to make me wait without transportation.Cheers,ML

Look in your owners manual for system fuse and inspect/replace if blown.

Find one to let you drop it off and give you a loaner. If you tell them it is unsafe to drive they should take you.

MotorWerks has a great Infiniti service shop. Sales staff is really knowledgeable too.

Check your fuses and look for any loose connections under your dash. Sounds like you could have knocked somethign loose.

had same experience with my 04 Maxima it is blown fuses. And you should talk to the dealers bit louder, they dont understand you could be in an accident without those lights!

The fuses you most likely blew, if that is the problem, are behind the battery. Not the little box of fuses in front, but behind the battery. Take the plastic covers off clear up to the windshield and look a little deep behind the battery for this hooded case. All the good light fuses are there. Did you change any bulbs? That is how I found my fuse box.
