Send it to me!

First, research the hell out of it.

and it will cost more than you think, even when you plan things out.

Honestly, I would worry about getting the motor running well before buying things like rims, suspension, fuzzy dice, and 5 lug conversions.

things to do:timing beltwater pumpmaybe oil pumpbetter radiatorengine mountsnew hoses for everythinghi flow fuel pumpdownpipe and possibly a turbo elbow modification to clear the steering rack.spark plugs, motor oil, gear oil, coolant, ATF fluid for your power steeringif you want ac, you will need custom lines made plus you should replace the dryerit might be a good idea to pay someone to do the wiringand I sent my tach off to be modified for 6 cyloh and a nice electric pusher fan and a puller if you can get one to fit.

Thats just the things I can think of off the top of my head.

Spend one or two hundred on a complete tuneup and maintenance then put the rest in a savings account or long-term investment. There is no wiser way to spend that kind of money at your age.

And pretty much everything he said for the list..........

Yea pretty much what he said, send the wiring off, intake, 3 inch exhaust, new sparkplugs, ect......but if the stuff is in decent condition you wont have to worry about replacing most parts, maybe a new clutch.....You wont need to worry about the O2 housing, if you use Mckinney mounts or top hats, and alot of ppl I know that use the R32 crossmember doesnt have that problem either.........I would say 3500 would get you everything you need and more for the swap, now brakes, you might want to upgrade, since you are having more power, and suspension also, i mean u wanna have a fast/good handeling car right??? wheels and tires are your choice, hopefully anything you choose would be better than the stockers. And yea 7k is something good to have, but I wouldnt spend it all in my car also, save amap, i plan on doing a swap along with other upgrades also, but i dont plan on spending 7k, but regardless like he said, you spend more than you plan on so hey.....Good luck!!

honestly if i had to do it all over again. I'd buy an sr20det and build it up for 500hp. Easy. Alot cheaper than building up a skyline motor and even the ecu will be cheaper if you don't do a rom tune. Young jedi u must learn to be cheap. Cause when u go skyline the sky's the limit. Get ready to be in some debt after u use all the 7g's. You'll see what i'm talking about after you get it in and started and rolling for a few months. The boost monster will get ya!

Like all the other suggestions, you should start off woth research, tons and tons of info lies dorment here in these forums, also wikepedia is a good source for info.

Next get the clip if this is the swap you want. Get the swap done first replace things like the stock clutch, you can get replacements from eBay, JGY, etc... Simple mods to do when your doing the swap:

Upgrade ClutchBlow off Valve Front Mount Intercooler3" ExhaustCustom DownpipeMotor MountsWater Pump Oil PumpGauges (Boost, Oil Temp, Water Temp, A/F Ratio)

Then move into bigger things once you get it running and get a hand of it:

Bigger turboBigger injectorsNew LSDSuspension ECU

Thats the best way to do it I think, and ask us were here to help too!
