My manager showed me these new goodyear eagles coming out in may that have carbon fiiber reinforced sidewalls. I havn't heard alot about them, but it seems like a really cool idea.

I found this article about them on good years website.http://www.goodyear.com/media/pr/23249ti.html

Has anyone else heard much about them?

Yeah, those are awesome. Makes the car look like a 4x4 though.

That contact patch is only that big because the car is cornering.

Just imagine what the ricers would do with those tires, though. Lights in all the holes. Scares me that I even thought of that...I need to go bleach my brain now.

No sidewall flex on the TWheel tires = ridiculous turn in and mid-corner stability, amongst other things.

Can't wait for those tires to hit the market!
