i i just recently bought from goodie garage through ebay. i bought a set of megan rca for my ae86 not thinking it only works on megan coil overs. i guess my fault. i asked if they would except a return past there policy date, they said yeah so i mailed it to them using cheaper shipping that does not provide a tracking number, stupid me hu. well some time went by and i asked them if it got there they said let me check. they then told me and i quote
"check your paypal for the refund sir".
it was not there. then they told me i quote
"It's been 60days we can't re-fund the original transaction, what i can do though is send you the re-fund back all we need is your PayPal e-mail."
so i give them me email. needless to say i had to make it not look like a email so it would send. then what they told me was this i quote
"Hello Matthew, You refund will be processed today."
11 days go by and i send them this i quote
"i have sent numerous messages and i have not got a response as of lately. you said to send the part back for a refund with rma# 383 that was over a month ago. it was past your policy for returns but you said that it would be fine and to go ahead and send it back and i did. i have not received any monies back via paypal like you said. i don't know what the problem is but im going to have to file some kind of report on this matter to get this resolved i would like to do this with out outside help from paypal or ebay. but i will if that's what it takes. hope to hear back from you. thanks Matt"
and now they ask for the tracking # and they cant find my package. its funny they except returns past there own policy's and brake ebays policy's for excepting returns i was told that by ebay them selfs. there for making ebay not responsible. this company goodie garage knew i could not take back my positive feedback i gave them and excepted this return hoping i would use the shipping i did and then screwing me around so long that there is nothing i can do. if i would have used a more expensive shipping that provides a tracking # they would done the return no problems, i beleave. I know i could have prevented this but i was too trusting and it bit me in the a$$. so now my only option is to warn future costumers preventing them this pain and to drive there name into the dirt. these reviews are what keep other company's from doing this sort of thing. there is always word of mouth. so beware

This company uses policies and laws to make every penny they can. some people may think this type of business strategy is good or ok but not me.

any thing said or stated can and will be proved through ebay's messages
i have reported them to www.ic3.com and the Better Business Bureau
i am currently working with local law enforcement on this matter as well. if this was not true why would i file a false police report for $80.00

thanks for hearing me out and Caveat emptor

Goodie Garage :wtf2:

Since when is that a problem?

Also, most online stores require a tracking number on a return, part of the policy. If businesses didn't have policy, then someone could take advantage of them. Maybe you know how that feels?

Smearing their name because they tried to work with you and you didn't even attempt to cover your own a$$ seems like a childish way to conduct yourself when you don't have a shred of proof about the package being returned either way now... Sometimes you just have to accept that you made a mistake.

Hey, I could be wrong, but there it all is anyway. And even though it sounds like I'm being a hard-a** and an unfeeling jerk, I really do feel your pain. I've been ripped off too, but I was stupid that once. I learned real quick that you always cover your own a** and follow policy when it involves a return.

yeah your most rite. but why did they try to refund my money twice if they didn't have the package. iv been asking them that, every message i send them they never answer or act like it was asked. why did they try to refund my money with out having the package? they said they couldn't find it when a month after sending it and it was a month of them trying to get my email to paypal also to pay me. why did they also tell me to check my paypal twice for the refund? if they never got the package. they just lost it after a month. Thats why no one shouldn't buy from Goodie Garage

Goodie Garage is a new inexperienced company who i beleave try's to run every thing with a smart phone. if there policy is to provide a tracking number. they should have specified if that's what it takes for them to operate. they should have told me that if it was in there policy. and im sure they would have, but there new and don't know hat there doing.

Goodie Garage is no good

First of all, you don't have to make your email look like not an email in order to email it to someone. Where the heck did you hear of that being a problem? I tried to ask you that in the previous post, but you ignored that bit.

Also, if you send someone the wrong email (even one little bit different than yours) it will clear to the incorrect account and you're out of luck.

He talking about communicating with someone via eBay. You can't use eBay's internal email and put your email address in the text of the email. eBay won't let you send the email.

my complaint with Goodie Garage is legit. i would let this go if they did not try to refund my money twice the way they did. and they could have told me they needed a tracking # to complete the refund, because Goodie Garage was sure admit about it needing a rma # before i shipped.
i just recently sent a smith gauge to be rebuilt and they have shipping instructions and they tell you to use a shipping that uses a tracking # and to purchase insurance. i think if you have to have tracking numbers to operate then you better specify. maybe its because Goodie Garage is so new they dont know what there doing. or maybe they have had this problem before and are maybe under a new name im not sure. all i know is Goodie Garage is no good. i think they should have taken the hit on this not me. Goodie Garage cant even answer me why they tried to refund my money twice with no luck. i have asked Goodie Garage that through the Better Business Bureau also with out any kind of acknowledgement of it being asked.

MY ADVISE TO ANY ONE READING THIS LOOKING FOR A REVIEW FOR GOODIE GARAGE IS TO JUST BUY YOUR PARTS FROM ONE OF THE OTHER THOUSANDS OF PARTS STORES.
