Unfortunately my 1994 J30 Ts engine had internal cracks in the block causing my engine to die. Pricing for a new engine was to close to the cost I paid for this car. Plus with the rusting body, I decided to move on with a different car, one without rust. I wonted to say thanks to all that answered any of my questions, or gave me advice.

Now I have a decision to make maybe you can help me. Out of these cars witch one would you get and why?

1) 1999-2004 Audi A6 Quattro 4.2 v8 Auto/Sport shift (300hp)2) 1997-2001 BMW 540i 5spd or Auto (282hp)3) 1998-2003 Lexus GS400 Auto/Sport Shift (300hp)

I wouldn't touch an Audi. I use to have one. Parts are expensive (pricier than a J), everything is shoe horned in (no place to work or you got to remove a whole bunch of things to get to the part you want to work on), you require "special" tools to do certain work which only Audi sells. Audi FSM and discs are hard to come by and outrageously expensive. They have bad electrical systems and something breaks without fail every month.

Yeah it overheated unfortunately, but not because of negligence on my part or a failure of my new oil pump. Funny how it still stings me just talking about J Draggon. Anyway I have moved on, all my tears dried up now because of my new car. YOU GESSED IT THE CAR MANY DISLIKE THAT I NOW LOVE MY-----------------------------AUDI A6 4.2V8 Quattro-----------------------------Why? It’s hard to explain but the car spoke to me more then the other two did. Both the Bimmer n Lex are faster 0-60 but where lacking in a way. The Audi was a great combination of speed and luxury that just fit my personality more. This car has heated leather seats for back seat passengers, cool. I will post some pictures later. (The BMW was my second choice)

I would go with the Lexus, Toyota's run forever. I wouldn't get a german car it was going to be a daily driver, for reliability reasons.

Don’t think for a second that I wouldn’t wont a G35 but that’s going out of my price rang by about $$$ five grand, for a used four door. Too much money, for my slim pockets to handle. Plus taken the buss to save up more money, to get a G35, four months from now, doesn’t seem worth it.

Your right, Toyotas do last forever and I am taking a risk with the Audi. Knowing full well that Parts, Labor and tight spaces in the engine bay. Lead to $$$$$ for any repair but If you like something enough, you take the risk anyway. Hopefully I am one of the lucky ones.

-- Sorry to hear about your J. Should have bought another one and moved over your mods, as I recall yours wasn't quite stock. Either way congrats on the Audi! GL.
