Jacks, Dachsunds and Min Pins are the only little dogs I'd want.
the first two were bred for hunting...not really sure what a min pin is for...
MinPins were ratters, and also used to work with bigger dogs. They were paired with a dog with some muscle because MinPins bark FOR ANYTHING, which would alert the bigger dog to come investigate and handle business. We've had two roll through our house and God, those things don't shut up.
Also, those two MinPins were the most aggressive dogs I have ever experienced.
There is no such thing as an "agressive breed". Like someone mentioned, bigger dogs have more size, which makes them more capable in "attacks". If they could accomplish it, MinPins would kill everyone. But instead, since they're a foot tall, you just push 'em away.

Truth.
Tito's dog is one of the most well behaved animal I've ever seen. Affectionate and just wants to be loved. We were over the other day, and one of my friends was playing with him, a person the dog has NEVER seen before, and my friend was playing with his mouth, pushing him some, and all the dog would do was mouth on my friend's hands.
I hate how animals suffer because people can't take the time to properly train them. Yes, a dog is domesticated. But that doesn't mean you can just take one home, and then expect to do nothing as far as obedience, socialization and behavior goes.
I hate people.
