Again, that is THE WHOLE POINT. Read my posts, not just part of them... I even started off by saying that I'm not in the "all pitbulls are out for blood" camp.
I was just pointing out that posting statistics about how many more bites are caused by cockerspaniels is an irrelevant way to argue stupidity with stupidity due to the fact that not only are their more of the one breed then the other, but the severity of attack is no where near the same....
I KNOW that number of deaths from attack is only because a pitbull is much stronger... but it doesn't matter. The fact is that for the most part a small dog choosing to attack you is not much more then an inconvenience, and can in no way be compared with an attack from a much larger more powerful breed.
I am NOT here arguing that all pitbulls present a tremendous danger to the public, simply that how many dog bites were caused by cockerspaniels last year has NOTHING to do with the fact that a pitbull can present significant danger if improperly raised, much more so then a small toy dog.
