Well this is it. The next 19 hours will be the final ones that I have with my SR20DET 240sx. She has treated me well and I have treated it even better. I spent 5 hours today flushing out all the fluids and giving her a bath inside and out. I've spent the last year with her and have put 10,000 miles. I'm going to miss her so much.

Tomorrow at 1 o'clock i'm heading up north and trading for an MR2 with a Gen II 3sgte, 94 LSD, stock body, stock everything else.

The 240 has served me so well, I loved every minute of it. This car has been so great for me, but my love for the MR2 has brought me to my knees. So, tomorrow 240sx ====> MR2 turbo.

Well you guys have been awesome, I'll keep visiting the boards often... not that any of you know who I am anyway. But in a couple of months I'll own another 240sx and possibly go wtih a KA-T or another SR20. Good bye everyone, this has been an AWESOME experience. My first taste of boost and it definitely won't be my last. Goodbye nissan. Hello Toyota.... again.

Sorry that you had to make the trade.

Nice car though. MR2's are nice to play with.

Heh.. i'm not flaming, but I don't get it. I always see these posts with people that are "sad" to leave the scene (whether it be honda, or nissan, or whatever), and they're always like "I'm sad to inform that I will be trading my SR20 240 for an EVO8".

Why trade if you're gonna be sad about it? hahah.

I don't know for sure if that's the case with you. But I hope you enjoy your new MR2. mmmm..

Have you owned an MR2 before, or are you just in love with them? It always sucks to see someone leave the Nissan family. A buddy of mine had a really pimp MR2 for a while. He now drives an S14 with a KA-T.

I hope that you find the MR2 to be as good to you as the 240 was.

As much as I am obviously a fan of 240's (as an owner of one, heh), congrats on the MR2. What year MKII is this one? We need details here man, some of us are MR2 fanatics too . . . ;-) 94+ tails are a must, if it isn't already a 94+ model (though by the description you gave, it sounds like it must be an earlier model)

Actually with my... "Abilities" I can smog any car I want.

91 MR294 Gen II 3sgte "MaD tYtE JdM" 94 LSDStock body

Perfect canvas to start myself up on. I'm painting it two-tone Black top silver bottom. =) It's gonna be sexy.

And yes I've had an MR2 before. It was my first car. I will have a 240 again, probably sooner than most of you think. I'll still be here though snooping around and trolling like any other good samaritan.

Nice, nice . . . was it originally a turbo model, or was it N/A to begin with? T-tops? I am/was a member of MR2OC.com, even though I've never owned a MR2, I just like 'em a lot, so the details are my thing. ;-)

MR2's friggin rock!! I love my bro's 91 turbo. It's incredibly fast, good looking, and incredibly fast. Only think I don't like is that the exhaust is LOUD. Blitz Nur-Spec 80mm, btw. Enjoy the ride.

edit: Oh, and remember: "lifting" is bad... ;)

Lifting is the worse thing you could ever do in an MR2. But yeah, blitz is loud. Too loud for me. I"m going to go with a KO racing exhaust, sexy looking and good midrange power. =)

Yeah, the KO racing exhaust is one sexy motha'. A lot like the Departure II, but with out the fat price tag. And black top, with silver body will look awesome! Definetly get the 94+ taillights, they look a lot better than the older ones.

Oh, since yours was orignally N/A, it has cloth seats right? If you want a pair of leather seats, my bro will sell 'em to ya... :)

ive driven MR2's and found that they are not as easy or predictable as an "S" chassis from Nissan. Have fun with it, as you have driven it before, you know they can be a real ***** on a hard corner. Just be careful, as we want to see you drive another S chassis on into the future sometime

OH yeah, whats up with you not selling your car to a real NICO enthusiast?!? I thought it was agreed upon that we would keep our SR's in the family???

That is the reason why I would never ever sale my 90 because it is my first 240SX and it is what got me into nissan from Honda. I am so attach to my 90 that it have suvive 3 240sx sales!

I will never sale her. Next car if it is not Nissan it would be a Integra GS-R or a CRX SI (which is what I almost got before my 90 240SX). I want a MR2 too but I can't find one in ok condition in ATL in my price range!
