Just some picts I took today at my grandparent's farm. Nice scenery for good shots...

I miss my Lexus. I had to trade it in for the Infiniti - was so sad to see it go, but I traded it in with 317,000mi on it. It was time for a new one.

Wow...I'd be sad to say goodbye to any car that lasted me 320k miles!

Any plans for the I?

I'd love a nice stock spoiler and maybe some window vents. I've also been looking for the body kit that's got just the four corner pieces that go under the bumpers and make it look a bit lower to the ground. I like the stock look, and I usually hate body kits, but the one I saw was simple and far from gaudy. If I could find one of those I'd think about putting it on.

EDIT: I've also been looking at wheel spacers for the rear to give it a nice wide stance and fill the empty space on the outside of the wheel wells a little more.

Damn, 317k miles....you obviously take good care of your cars. The Lexus looks to be in great shape.

Thanks. There's not much to keeping a car running. All I did was change the oil on a regular basis and got a tune up once a year or so to make sure all the fluids were level. Im also a wax-a-holic. I had the car for 4 years and usually waxed it once a month. More if I was bored.

The only problem with the Lexus was the suspension - needed $1,500+ in parts. If the car was worth more I may have gone through with it, but I didn't think it wise to that kind of money into a car with that high of mileage.

over 300 000???? Wow, americans drive alot in comparison to Canadians. I think I have seen one or two cars with over 200 000 miles. I have never known anyone up here with over 500 000km (300 000 miles) on their car. Damn! But yeah, nice score with the I35. I love the VQ35DE

Nice I35 Sport, that's the exact car (black on black sport) that I looked for for nearly a year before buying my I30. You've got a really rare car, most black I35s seem to have tan interiors.

Today it was 97°. Black on black looks really nice until you have to sit in it after leaving it in a sunny parking lot for 8 hours. I test drove it in the winter so I wasn't thinking about the heat issue - had I though, I still would have bought the car. It had my name all over it.

Nice lookin' EyeThirtyFive!

The 02-04 I35 equipped with the 8-spoke Touring/Sport wheel has a front/rear tread span of 59.8F/59.1R.

If you could locate a couple of 8-spoke 17 inchers from a 2005 Q45 they would help to fill that empty space on the rear and be a great alternative to spacers. The 05 Q wheel is 17x7.5 +35mm, The I35 Sports, 17x7 +45mm.

The outside edge of two Q45 wheels mounted on the rear will extend an extra 32mm (slightly over twelve tenths) from the I35 wheel (16mm each side).

If my math is correct, this would change the rear tread span to roughly 60.4.

That's a nice idea, but even though Q45 wheels are sexy as hell, the whole idea is to spend as little as possible. 20mm wheel spacers are around $120 per pair. $120 probably couldn't even pay for shipping Q45 wheels.

I also just bought nice new $700 Stiletto tires, so Im in no hurry to replace the rims. Nice thought though! Thanks!

Nice I35. I have a 02 silver sport with black interior. I wish mine was black on black. I do have to say that the black interior even with window tinted due tend to get hot. My son has a 04 G35 coupe. Black with tan interior. His does not get as hot as our I35. Congrats again on a nice find. Your car would look good with smoked out taillights to match the tint. I put overlays on my I35 over the weekend.

Very nice silver I. I like the black out idea, too. Might have to try that soon. Thanks!
