Hey Guys,

It’s been too long. I apologize for not being active on the forums for a while. I’ve just been trying to stay on top of school and work. Anyways, I am very sad to share that I will be parting with my Altima Coupe and potentially purchasing a new car. It's been a ton of fun on this forum with you guys and I'm sure I'll pop my head in and out here once in a while. I've learned a ton from this forum and I'm glad I got to meet all of you. Specific shout outs to mcheddadi the photoshop god, dr. feelgood, my man LBC coupe, dangeris, alphapig, razah, loop, and any other oldschoolers/ anyone else I forgot for making this time even more enjoyable and giving me great advice. To everyone else, thanks to you too! Take care until next time!

Signing off,

Audi A5 is a nice car... Although why not an S5? :P

Although from what I understand, they're hard to get, waiting list, etc.

Some dude I work with (douche trust fund baby) totalled his BMW a few weeks back, so he asks me on a Friday what car he should get. I know money is no object so I start spitting out...G37, GTR, A5, Jag, just the most rediculous cars I would love to drive but could never afford. He says, no I want to keep it BMW, Audi doesnt have good lease packages, Infiniti isnt classy enough, blah blah blah. The polesmoker rolls in the next Tuesday morning in a fully loaded A5 coupe.

Point being, this was only few weeks ago and he didnt have to wait. Im in NJ though so might be different where you are. And it is pretty tight man, I almost beat his a**. Couldnt believe it.

To the OP, never conversed with you but sounds like you were a big part of the community. Congrats on your soon to be new A5.

Am intrigued by this car

one engine: 211 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder / 258 ft-lbs of torque.
0-60 in the 7+ seconds range

Price is unjustified looking at performance / options

A5 has been a pipe dream. Although now I'm a little hesitant to be joining a forum with that trust fund baby friend of yours DJBeasy, lol. Hopefully the people on those forums are half as decent as the nico clubbers.

S5 would be really nice - probably too nice for me right now. Shoot, a new S4 would be absolutely killer.

I'll take any other suggestions! The audi stealership hasn't sold me outright just yet!

This thread is nuts. I was recently talking about this car with my buddy yesterday before even reading this. The 2.0T Audi A5 IOHO is just not worth it performance wise. It looks very nice but that's all the car. The S5 on the other hand =)!

Couldnt agreee more with DAAN the A5 looks cool but performace wise it sucks unless you get the A5S and Im sure your paying 60+ for that... My unlce just bought an A4 and I was talking to him about it he said it was 350hp I was like that cool for a V6 then he said it was a V8   please

I meant the S5 being hard to come by.

Thought you guys were through with me huh?

I'm back at home for a month and will probably be on this forum for the month I'm home. Got rid of most of my electrical stuff but still have most of my performance parts for sale (nismo exhaust, injen intake, borbet Xl rims, eibach kit etc.) so definitely email me if you're interested ([email protected])! Missed you guys.

Also, need some suggestions on the new car. Didn't get the A5 just yet. I have around $35-40K to spend and it needs to be a AWD car or at least have the option. What would you get? New or Used. I'm thinking Range Rover Sport Supercharged (2007-2008?) with some milage or a used S5 if I can find one for that cheap.

Keep it in the Nissan family?

Definitely many great options for under 40K. I'll be in heavy snow areas though so kind of leaning towards an SUV or something with great AWD. Audi Quattro? Need more recommendations!

Probably the best way to communicate with me. Nismo kickplates are unfortunately sold but happy to do something with the rims.

It's completely out of the Nissan family, but I had a Subaru Sti and the AWD on that thing was amazing. I could go anywhere with it. It's about $35 new.

The Range Rover will also perform A LOT better in the snow, and for someone in ctrl NY thats a big thing.

RRS Supercharged or RR Supercharged? Both 07'! Have to decide ASAP.

Also, shameless plug: still have parts for sale. Hit me up! [email protected]
