Well, the time has come for me to depart the Nissan world, and the import world for that matter. I just sold my S14 today. After being out of an American muscle car for a little over a year, I'm finally back into one. I bought a 2003 Mach 1 Mustang about a month ago and I must say, it feels good to be back in an American car. I like the 240 for what it was, but, it just wasn't enough for me...not mean enough, not raw enough, didn't have the sweet sound that the 32 valve V8 in the Mach makes when it's at 6,800 RPM. Mmmm...MMM, makes you want to smack your mama...lol. Anyway, I enjoyed my short stay here, I wish everyone here the best. I have a few parts for sale from my 240, I'll be posting them in the parts for sale section.

Sincerely, Cory

nice car, isnt that the year range with independant suspension, thats the stang to have.

but...in my opinion the hoods on all the mustangs are just to damn big you cant see over the thing and in most of them its just for looks.

The Mach 1s don't have IRS. It's a muscle car for the purists. Either way that shacker hood is awsome. Enjoy the car and, as previously stated, enjoy the torque.

It is sad to see you sell the S14, but that is a mighty fine choice. I really like those color Mustangs, and I like the Mach 1's. I've been inside one, and they are very very quick. Stick around, just because you don't have a Nissan doesn't mean you have to leave.

On the GT's the hoods for show but the Mach 1's are functional shaker hoods.

Congrats on the purchase, I sat in a Mach 1 at the chicago auto show last year and just absolutely fell in love with them! And good choice on the color ive got a focus in that color its ridiculously easy to keep clean.

haha damn im going to fallow in your footsteps, but instead once i get the $ im getting an '03-'04 cobra, my 240 is nice but i want something that'll smoke just about everything on the roads, save the modded ones.its really simple to make the new cobras powerful and cheap, so im taking that route and this will all be smog legal!someday...

Thanks for all of the replies everyone. I'll be around from time to time. I had a 1999 Mustang GT that I bought new, and I must say, the Mach 1 is much nicer and alot more powerful. I really reminds me of my Grand National, I think it's that big hood scoop b/c the GN has a lump in the hood that's very similar in size. This isn't just some GT with Mach 1 badges, it really lives up to the name "Mach 1" in my opinion, and when I drive by, people look. I'm definitly enjoying this car, I have a Mac prochamber H-pipe laying here that I am going to install today It will be her first mod. The next will be a cat back, tint, and some springs You guys take it easy, I have a part to install now...

Good luck Cory. Sweet looking Mach 1. I've driven the last generation Cobras and my dad has owned like 14 corvettes over the years so I definetly appreciate the sound and power of a mighty V8. Don't be a stranger to Nico bro.
