I'm looking a good bolt-on manifold for now, and MUCH later a turbo upgrade. As the title says, my car is my daily driver and weekend warrior. I'm still only in the planning stages, first I have to get my SR to stop misfiring, then upgrade suspension and tires, but I may get a manifold this spring. For manifolds, I've been looking at the "new, upgraded design" manifold from SSAuto, the Helix on Touge's site and the Megan's on Phase2's site. Basically I just want bolt-ons on my car.For turbos I'm still a bit lost. For me, S15 turbo may suit me the best, but I guess for bragging rights I would like to say my car has 300+WHP So, what I've been looking at are the S15 turbo, GT2571R, GT2540RS which will be MUCH MUCH later on. Anyone have any other recommendations for a turbo? I'd like the turbo to fit on the manifold I buy. But, what modifications will need to be done for each turbo? Also, anyone know what the turbo response will be like with each and how much power can be made at what boost levels, and what would need to be done to make that power (read note on bottom) AND do it safely and on a daily basis? Like I said though, IMHO I think the S15 turbo would be the best for me because, I would like to boost to be more like a regular part of driving not something I need to get prepared for. Can someone please help, because I understand the concept of trims and A/R, but I get lost when all those numbers are in front of my face.NOTE: I will most likely not get cams until after a turbo upgrade (if I deam in necessary). I know cams can make a difference between night and day, but without cams, how much power can be expected with the list of the turbos above. Anyways, I know this is a long post, but thanks for reading and responding.
