Good Tires

I'm sure this has been asked before but im a n00b here so what are some good tires and why? I want some that have a rim protecting lip like yokos but arent there other tires that have that lip on the bead?

did you look at the sticky on tires? There is a pretty good description of tires and treads on there.

well, I have Pzero tires. But..if you really want to break the bank, get a set of Pzero Corsca, or Michelin Pilot sport Cup tires(over 200 a peice), both are street-legal copetition tires, and have decent(say, 8,000 mile) treadlife and wet weather capability.-chet

just for the record i did read the stickys but i thought i might try to get a broader response this way. besides, the sticky came out a little while ago right? i just wanted to see if there were any new tires people were impressed with
