Im looking for a good high-performance or performance all-season tire for the q. It rains alot round here, so rain performance is very important, but I still want something that I can have fun in the dry with. OEM is 215/65/15 but Im not sure if it would be worth it to try and fit something wider on the stock wheels. Any opinions? Thanks

Do a search on tire as there are a lot of threads on this topic.

Most of the good tires in 15" are no longer made.

235/60-15 has only the Pirelli P600 now, but there are a couple of 225/60-15 by other manufacturers.

Spend some time at tirerack and read their tests to get a sense of what might work. An H rated tire can work at lower speeds, but the minimum load index is 95 for the G50.

There is also a tire forum on this board to post these types of questions.

Yokohama AVS dB 225/60/15 is probably best for your situation.... not a perfect tire, but pretty darn good for the price.

I have Kumho's that are similar to that tire and they're good for the money, but next time I'll get the Yokohamas.

I have Falken Ziex H rated tires. Although, they only have about 5K on them, I love em. Consumer reports rated them #1 and best of all they only cost me $200 for all four.
