I found a nice set of authentic centerlines from the junkyard a few weeks back, but the tires were shot as usual. The wheels were on an old school Celica (4x114.3).
I've fitted the wheels on my coupe prior to check fitment. The 15x8.5 clear flawlessly in the front (necessitating a good fender roll and without a need for spacers). The rears however definitely need a pull/flare to clear (the 15x9.5 in the back space out nearly 2 inches passed the rear fenders).
Now I'm just experimenting since I work at a tire shop. I just wanted suggestions as far as what tires any of you believe I should stretch on these guys before I sell the car. I'm definitely open to suggestion, because I'm only building my coupe to sell it.
I was thinking maybe 195/50/R15s on all four, 205/50/15 on the 9s and the 195/50/15s on the 8s. Just for giggles I even looked up at 155/60/15 from the Smart Car.
Anywho, suggestions? Thanks for the input!
