alright so i went out racing in my ka24de powered 89 240sx se right? smoked the **** outa a 92 prelude si, i mean burned him off the line and held him at a car length and a half. then i raced a iroc z28 camaro. smoked him through first gear and then got burnt. ha, limited slip rules f-ers. so then i come home engine is steaming and coolant is boiling, turns out the water pump belt/ power steering belt broke, fixed. so heres the questions of the day, since i put a 91 engine in my 89 and didnt swap out my instrement cluster my tach wont work and my speedo sticks? so the question is when i did the swap should i have swapped the instrument cluster or harness?. also i used the 89 transmission and put a 91 clutch and throw out on the 91 engine right? well the throw out got shot and ruined my clutch. so i put a new 91 clutch in with a 89 throw out bearing. now its shot too. so what am i doing wrong? do i need the 91 transmission? damn i need help, its embarassing, the clutch wont engage half the time and im ruining my gears.thanks guys

aside from the clutch diameter/flywheel, the trannys, throwout bearing from the z22,24,kaE,kade are the same.....maybe even the gearing for most of em. some truck and 240 have the big flywheel/clutch while others have the small but you could swap em. as for the cluster? I wouldnt know if you could make it work.
