Damn morph, sorry to hear that. What seems to be the problem?? I haven't installed my SR yet but it comes in thursday. I can try to help you out with the install since I know a experience installer and i've been researching a long time now.

Well I thought that every thing was done 3 weeks ago when i took it for a test drive. Backed out of my drive way and started down the road. Spooled the turbo switched out at 4.5k just wanted to spool to make sure everything felt right. Then on another long straight road spooled it again at 4-4.5k threw it into second and car died. Pulled over saw white smoke comming from my hood i got out poped the hood didnt see ****. No smoke coming from anywhere. But i did see a small puddle of oil coming from the turbo. It wasnt enough oil to where i would be scared to drive it home ( was only 3min from my house going 20mph ) cranked it up backed it up again white smoke coming from the hood killed it kicked the **** out for the fender and pushed it all the way home at 2am. Im thinking the oil is coming from the oil line on the top of the turbo but i dont have the tools to tighten it any more b/c the exaust manifold gets in the way.

This blows.:D

hey. have you tried buying a cheapo wrench from walmart or something? We had to do the same damn thing to my buddy's eclipse because the top oil line wasn't tight enough. he had a short rachet set though but I saw walmart selling big enough wrenches to tighten the bolt, so you don't have to take the whole exhaust mani off.

so it's your mechanic that installed the motor? he must not be a experienced SR installer. i would make him pay you your money back! i believe doing the SR swap does require a lot of research before anything. I've been looking into it for about a year and I am just now doing it. Im still afraid I didn't look into it enough! That's weird that nobody has done it around new orleans... I thought memphis TN was slow but guess not. I'll try to help as much as possible. My buddy's friend has done about 3 swaps already. I can always ask him if i don't know the answer. What's your setup by the way?
