i was looking into buying lowering springs for my s13, and i was wondering which ones would be better over others.

How low do you want to go? Popular choices for a mild drop include the Tein S-Tech springs and the Eibach Pro-Kit. I'm thinking of getting the H&R Sport springs, myself.

I'd stick with the Pro-Kit or H&R Sport if you're using stock shocks. RS-R "Race" springs seem to be getting more popular, but you'll have a tough time finding something up to the task of damping them.
