Quite a few exhausts will sound raspy on these cars, and a select few actually sound nice and deep without rasp. The best exhaust that I have heard on these cars to date is a SVRTech exhaust. It is hard to get but it sounds great and exactly as you described you are looking for. Let me know if you want a phone number for the place that makes the exhaust and I will give it to you......

Hey wa2good have you ever heard or had any experience with the stillen true dual exhaust. If so what are your opinions about it as far as sound, power, and quality go?

if you get a chance go to youtube.com, type in 350z exaust, there will be a bunch for clips with sound on the subject. this will at least get you headed in the right direction.

I'm saveing up for a Greddy EVO TT exhaust. It sounds amazing on the Z. HKS makes a good exhaust and if you want a cheaper version of the Greddy one go with the EVO2. Just make sure it's a true dual exhaust.

I'm using the Injen dual exhaust. Good deep sound, not raspy.

I have a Nismo cat back on my 08 Touring and it is awesome. Deeper tone but too loud, no drone, all stainless steel, fits like a glove and looks awesome, provides additional 6HP according to Nissan. It's not a true dual like the Stillen but I was more concerned about sound and looks, and the Nismo exceeds my expectations.

i just bought the stillen tru dual system and it is perfect its slightly louder than stock adds quite a bit of power an sound incredible from 2900 to 4200 rpms. the tone is deep and has a slight gargle and is not a bit ricy. installation was very simple. i installed exhaust in about 1 1/2 with only 2 jack stans. if i had 4 stans it would have only took about 45min to an hour. but good luck hope this helps

I am running the JIC Spartan DE and it pretty much sounds amazing, and has good gains. Similar to the Agency Power, but a little nastier sounding, and a little less expensive.

Greddy SP2 is what i'm run'n...see it all depends on what u want the sound to be, and how much u have to spend. This is axle back only. http://s194.photobucket.com/al...2.flv

I'm rockin the invidia N1 cat back exhaust. its under a grand and sounds & performs great. everyone i run into that has a Z or knows them thinks mine sounds like the one on Need4Speed underground 2, after you mod it up. I also like the evo TT, but be sure to try to listen to the one you are thinking of, make sure it doesn't have that raspy sputter, sounds like sh*t. To me, my car sounds like a mean a$$ porsche.
