that's a 5 lug bolt pattern, the versa uses a 4x114.3 lug pattern

Hey CodeRed... I searched but I found about 6,000 threads and none of them seemed to have the answer I was looking for. Do you think a 7.5" width with the same offset (42mm) would fit ok? I wouldn't think a 1/2 inch width would make a big difference, but I just wanted to be sure. I'm thinking of getting the Falken Sceptor wheels. They're cheap, they look great and they're not too heavy (25 lbs), but they're not the lightest things around either.

To be honest, I don't know. I really do think a 7.5" wheel would fit fine but I really couldn't tell you.

if you go 7.5, I would suggest a 35 offset or so to accomodate the extra width. You have to also compensate what tire you are going to run.

I know they make a 4 lug, I just searched google to find a pic to post, and the only good pic I could find was that one. Anyways, they only make a 40 and a 42 mm offset, so I guess I should go with the 40 to help with the width. I planned on running exactly the same tire as everyone else in this thread, 215 45 17. As far as the weight, I just figured I'm adding weight for the size of the wheel, but I'd be dropping a little tire weight. I guess I could stand to go a few pounds lighter, but I really like these wheels and I'm certainly not looking for performance, I just don't want it to be slower than stock.

the wheels im getting are 16.8 lbs and tires are 19 lbs = 35.8 lbs im sure it's lighter then stock. Buying a heavy wheel on a fast car is okay, but not on slow car.

Anybody knows the stock wheel and tire weight?

i test fited my old velox onto the versa, and it seem fine.

they were 17x7.5 running 215/40/17 nitto. but one thing to note is that the wheel seem much more smaller then stock. so i your choice of 215/45/17 will prob be the best bet. i am prob going to look for a 205/50 cause i am looking for a nice set of light 17x7 rims. plus 215/40 had such a thin sidewall that i bent the rim ridding over pot hole ALOT.

You know with that size your speedo will be off by 1.6mph. Sidewall should be 4.1 inches. But with 215/45R17 it will be off by 0.5mph and sidewall is 3.8 inches. With youre old setup it had only 3.4 inches sidewall.

like i said, my old setup was from another car. so of course, it look funny, and i wont use it. plus the new wheel i plan to get will have thicker tires because i hate getting bent rims. so in theory i will be going slower. :p

The recommended tire size for the Versa in 17" form is a 205/45R17. Like stated above, the speedo will be off a couple MPH, and you also run the risk of rubbing the strut towers.

The 15" aluminum Versa wheels feel lighter than 20lbs. FOR SURE. I've done tires on them and I can frisbee those damn things.

Yes... but they do recommend ( 215/40R18 ) 215wide as to fit...

Yeah, for 18" wheels, that compensates for the 1" larger diameter rim and larger width. It's all mathematical.
