So I just finished tuning my new turbo setup and I decide to turn the boost up. Before I could react, the gauge was reading 17lbs and I hear a loud bang and the car is barely runing.
So, I'm thinking "I don't effing believe I just blew my motor before even getting a chance to enjoy it." So, I limp it to the party store on the corner and call AAA. Then I proceed to open my hood again to see what I can see. I look down and there is my IC pipe popped totally out of the silicone coupler. I wasn't a religious man before this happened but I couldn't think of anything accept "please Lord" the hole time I was putting it back together.
Thank God it's ok!

yeah, the first time will always make your butt hole pucker....
Hehe, I hate when that happens (my butthole puckering....j/k). First time I blew an IC coupler I thought mine blew up, too.
Guess what's really cool...if you run a blow-through MAF, any couplers on the hotside that blow off (which is most commonly the case) don't mean squat, and you can drive home in N/A mode.
