of the two, i personally would go for the S5. Its more unique, when that new G comes out, i have a feeling they'll be everywhere, and i have yet to really fall in love with the design. I love the current design.

the new M3 from bmw is gonna be a power house. 4-420 hp.

do you have a car to drive after u sell the G?

no car...no plan for one. I live in D.C. in a good area and the bus runs right to work..i'll rent a car for weekend trips to the beach etc.

Yeah the S5 is absolutely unreal...the interior..wowThe M3...may be nice..i'll go look at that now.I love the 2005 look..and when my car is detailed its amazing! Plus with the borla and intake, it sounds like an aston martin..turns heads everytime.

You are asking $28K for an 05 coupe. Brand new zero miles 06 coupes are selling for $7K off sticker by dealers. So, a brand new 06 coupe is selling for around $31K. Is your car worth $3K less than a brand new one? Or, from the other side, if someone were interested in your car, would it be worth $3K to them to move up to a brand new one?

Because the 06's are selling for $7K off sticker and the 07's are selling for $4K off sticker, for many buyers it is better to pay a little more to buy new than to pay the prices used sellers are asking. (There are actually people asking more for used 06's than new 07's are selling for!)

thats because dealers are trying to clear out the current G coupes they have to make room for the 08's. Keep in mind, his car does have tasteful mods done to it.

doesn't the new coupe have less horsepower and that's in reference to the automatic. My car is at least 315 horsepower with my mods and sounds like an aston martin. I am almost torn to get rid of it and may just hold it unless I get exactly 27975..and not a penny less.

But, that is the "market" available to G35 buyers. If the seller does not want to sell in this market, then he should keep the car until the market changes. However, when the market changes, prices will probably go down because buyers will be hot for the G37.

I don't know how the weather there is but if it is snowing and cold it will be hard to sell it. you may want to wait until the summer, the summer is always a good time to sell sport cars. I don't remember if the windows are tinted, if not try that it is a mod that realy improves the look and makes it look more custom. Show the car in a better location too. Give it all the help you can to sell it a few good shots on the beach or behind a hot chick is good too.

Good luck!

understood, when the new G37 does come out, the prices for G35s will have to take a hit and go down, but more people will pick them up in a sense because of the lower prices.

mods are usually a negative, but i believe in his sense, someone who wants a G35 is going for the power it has and his mods are higher end that add power to the car witout any exterior altercations.

so in short, the market may not be the greatest at the moment, but the price and condition of the vehicle go hand in hand.

Its 81 today in D.C. and the area I live in is full of rich morons who love these cars, just driving to work is like the freakin autobahn here..the parkway is full of m5's, m3's, g's and amg's. Very fun and i'll miss it. SO, the weather is ripe and my price is solid from the looks of things its the cheapest 05 coupe within 100 miles and just yesterday I got a serious inquiry and a test drive is scheduled for today. I sure hope I sell it.

The g37's are coming but not out and not out any time soon. The 06 with the exact same options is 38k new...the sedan base with nothing is 33..something.

Thanks for everyone's input . this board is TOP NOTCH because of the people posting here
