So I need rotors. An Infiniti tech told me not to get the autozone rotors. Instead I should go for drilled or slotted. But he insisted that I NOT get drilled and slotted rotors. I totally trust this dude as he is my to to guy. But you guys until can always sway my decisions on all things Q. What do you guys think are the best options when it comes to Q rotors?
As always, your input is appreciated.

Ps: got a new job this week!

Personally I don't like drilled or slotted rotors unless you have a real good reason. On the Q I wouldn't mess with it.

Brembo blanks are my personal preference, they're good in comparison to OEM and a little cheaper. When it comes to rotors, OEM is usually the benchmark for price vs quality.

Try and go Brembo if possible. I use NAPA rotors myself. The main thing about Advanced/Autozone/Pep Boys rotors are they are a lighter rotor which doesn't help disipate heat as well. They eliminate some of the vanes and use a thinner overall surface. Over repeated braking it can cause catostrophic failure. Visit NAPAbrakes.com and check out the info on there. Also drilled and slotted will hinder braking performance unless they have proper air routed to them to help them cool off.

Yes... cross drilled and slotted are worthless, even on the "performance" benz sedans. Only on the exotic 2-doors do they make sense. It is very difficult to get the right cross-drilled or slotted rotor matched up to the right brake pad if you are going aftermarket. What ends up happening is that the rotor acts like a "cheese grater" on the brake pad (cheese). Not only will you get reduced pad and rotor life, you'll be cleaning the rims every week of brake dust... and probably inhaling a lifetimes worth as well each time.

Brembo Stillen Rotors are drilled, chamfered and plated. Absolutely the best stock rotor replacements.

Brembo blanks are next, but since they are not plated, the hubs rest very ugly.
