i wouldnt use rimtuck as a reference for wheels, they are a crapload of people running terribly pokey offsets, and hardcore stretched tires..

if your going to go with a JDM Fanboi stanced look, definitely check out rimtuck

im running 18x8+20 front and 18x9+40 rear on my s13 vert. No rub, and its totally flush with the 225/285 stagger

if i could find it though.... id prefer to run a 18x8+30 front with a 245 front.. but i couldnt find the right staggered rim setup

Holy crap! I hope you have some cheap a** all seasons on the rear and some good sticky summer tires on the front, because that large of a stager is bound to cause understeer.

yeah.... ive been on the lookout for some better fitting front wheels.. those +20 offsets freaking suck for "real" tires. with 13" brembo fronts the options are pretty cut and dry.. something evo based, or 350z based..

one day ill figure out the optimal wheel setup, so i can run something more along the lines of 255/285, and still be flush

.... of course i could go widebody and then it wouldnt even matter.. but i hate the idea of not being able to go back to stock body if i wanted to

17's are fine for 240's. If anything, on a hatch, I'd do 17's in the front & 18's in the rear. But I doubt that is going to leave you feeling fulfilled until you get rid of that unsightly wheel gap left from the crappy 1.5 inch drop.

What are the specs on your current wheel/tire setup? Width? Offset? Tire sizes?

Its already been done if you know where to look. Very difficult to fit 255's under the stock front fenders with a custom coilover.
