Hey, I have a 90 240sx with a SOHC block and bottom end with a DOHC head. This is a high compression swap. My rings have to be bad, i have push air in and it blows right by on 3 cylinders. I bent valves recently and have taken care of that but my mechanic said a piston skirt may have cracked and is letting oil pass the oil rings. How probable is this? What would be the best replacement rings for such? Your help is appreciated.

i havent ever heard of a skirt cracking, although it is possible. more likely is the rings could be bad. Chris cracked a 2nd ring iirc and it still drove. my bet would be the valves or rings.
