Hey guys, I want to buy a good quality driving glove. It's cold here right now and my fingers freeze off every time I start driving my car and I need some new gloves anyway so they may as well be driving gloves.

I would like some that are nice and flexible...ideally they would fit almost like tight lab/latex gloves to allow maximum movement and grip. I wear a medium exam/lab glove and it usually fits pretty well so something with a similar fit would be nice.

Any ideas?

Turn on the heat

My G gives heat within 2 minutes. After a 3 mi drive to Dunkin Donuts to pick up coffee I take off my jacket and drive in short sleeves no matter what the outside temperature is. The temperature inside is 70* so why use gloves?

Well 90% of the time I turn on the heat is only to get my hands warm--otherwise I can keep it off cuz I like it cold, in general. BUT, the other thing is, I wanted to get good gloves anyway--like when I have to brush snow off the car, or fill up the tank. So might as well get some nice driving gloves.

Well I don't mean like gloves with like badass racing ish on them. By driving gloves I just mean gloves that are comfortable to drive in. Like a thin leather or something...anything that has good grip and fits, well, like a glove lol. I want it to fit really closely and be very flexible. It would be nice if it fit like spandex, but was like a nice leather glove for example. This gives good traction, and looks professional if I have to be in a suit, etc.

lol, I did end up switching to 91. By the way, any chance you can send me the original picture you have in your sig prior to the effect? (if it's OK with you that is). It's really nice looking and it's the same car is mine and I'd like to make it my wallpaper if it's cool. You can email me at [email protected] (I don't check this email particularly often though--it's the one I post if I need to onlien in case some spam starts coming to it).

Get a pair of leather gloves. Personally, I have a pair of deer skin leather gloves that are fleece lined. Not only are they classy to drive in, but when you get out of the car, they're classy there, too.

Hey thanks man, those are some awesome pictures.

I was actually hoping Zozoka can send me the picture of his black G--that's the car I have. I got confused as to who I was replying to lol. Thanks for the ones you sent regardless, they look awesome.

ooh..haha I wanted the blue when I was getting my car too.

Can you send it anyway? If you can send both the original and the one you have with the filter over it that makes it look black it would be cool. Thanks man

Men's Warehouse carries some nice leather/cashmere gloves that I use as driving gloves. They're not very thick and you can still feel the steering wheel, shifter, buttons, etc. through them which makes them particularly ideal for driving.

I did. I think it looks good because of the photoshop not because of my skill taking pictures. Ask my wife she would tell you have bad photographer I am. I usually take 100 pictures and 3-4 usable ones. LOL

You still wanting gloves? b/c if you are, then don't go and get 'driving' gloves....you don't want to look like your from 1976 in your trans-am, do you? Just get gloves! Regular old gloves that will be warm when you wear them, and when you get out of your car wearing your gloves, you'll look like a normal person from the present day, and not some douche in his porsche trying to get people to look at him. I mean, I just have regular old nice warm fleece lined leather gloves, and when I step out of the car, my hands are warm in the snow and stuff, and I don't look like some kind of a person that thinks they are god's gift to driving (I might be...doubtful though, but I don't draw attention to myself that way)

And, have you heard of ? They have this thing called image search, and you can find just about ANYTHING you want! It is the coolest thing ever! You should try it!

lol, I agree and I think I clarified I'm not looking for driving gloves specifically, just gloves that are conducive to driving. I am picky in that so I figured i'd post here rather than just shotgun method googling.

I got a nice pair at Kohls for low money. They are thin leather with spandex-like knuckles. They have a tighter fit than regular winter gloves. They do keep my hands warm enough as winter gloves, too.

That sounds like what I need--any links by any chance to the glove? Maybe on the Kohl's website or any online store that may carry the brand/model?

Just remeber, Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.

I replied to your question at the other post.

I post it here for you just in case you can't find it or google it. LOLhttp://forums.g35club.org/zerothread?id=457003

I checked the website before posting last night and I was unable to locate the gloves. They may not carry them online.

They look sort of like this pair, but without the snap. They simply have an elastic taper at the wrist.

EDIT: Amazon does have quite a selection for under $30. The sizing would be the only difficult part.

Your choice. Doesn't bother me either way. No need to bash here. We poke each other sometimes but we've been here for awhile and know each other to some degree and accepted.

Last night when I was posting the site went down with maint. I clicked few times on the post since it did not go anywhere from that page and when it went it showed me the site is down for temp maint. It does that every night or almost every night I am here. Not sure how the site allowed me to post 3 times in a minute. I thought we have flood controll here.
