i need a moter for my 240 and the 2 wrecking yards in my area dont have squat but i found a moter out of a wrecking yard in washington but they want 850.00 for a ka24e with 82000miles do you think this is a good deal?

i've seen them go for less for a ka24de. i would say check ebay if you trust it or shop some more.

check the classifieds on the right. tons of guys sell thier motors due to an sr swap.

by the way, its spelled "motor".

We can get a motor and transmission here for $225 regardless of what it is, but to get a price that low you have to pull the motor out of the junked car yourself.

Thats expensive. I would understand if it was below 500 but still wouldn't buy it. I would expect to pay a few hundred and still get something decent.
