Found a sr20 today. Its $850 with the motor and transmission. Has 67k miles and missing alternator, starter, master cylinder, AC, mounts... Good deal? Sr20 good for daily driving? I worried that they don't pass emmisions when I get to drive. thanks

Hmmm, so basically just motor and transmission?

No turbo, Sr engine harness, ecu, maf, etc?

If so I would just make my life easy and get a complete swap or a front clip. You will save the headaches of piecing the rest of the other parts. I would also say with all those parts missing you would still pay almost the price of a complete swap. That price for a engine and transmission would be good for someone with a bad sr20det motor that needs replacing.

And emissions, I don't know about you but I usually pay alittle extra to pass ; P

Sounds not that bad. It won't pass emissions nowhere in US. Unless you pay extra.
