Hey guys, I'm looking into possibly getting some new tires for some possibly new wheels.
My car is a daily driver and I don't do anything crazy in it. Don't race, don't have any performance mods for now and probably won't be getting anything serious other than basic bolt-ons (exhaust, y-pipe, etc). Because of this I don't think I need fancy tires or anything that is extremely premium in quality. But I don't want anything that is "worse" than the general stock tires.

I've looked online and seen some tires for as expensive as $250 each, $150 each and $125 for 4.
I'm looking to get tires with these dimensions:
225/40-19 - Front
245/40-19 - Rear

As my car isn't really headed down the extreme performance route, what's a good/reasonable price for the kind of tires I'm looking for?

I wouldn't expect to see anything lower than $150 per tire in those sizes unless they are clearance tires, off-brand or someone is giving you a deal. Summer vs all-season is going to have a big impact on price. Summer tires are generally cheaper than all-seasons in 19" for whatever reason.

I'd say the ventus V12's are the way to go. i've heard only good things about them and i'm going to be getting them mounted on my wheels as well. They are a bit on the pricy side though..

Iaum get in touch with me about wheels. May have a set of 18" for you. Ranga said my pm is not working for some reason.

PM'd you about Stillen intake and swaybar also. Have them on the workbench if you are interested.

for 19's, i'd say the 100-150 range is a good price for all seasons especially if you're looking online like 1010tires, discounttires or tirerack. just look up some reviews on the tires to make sure they aren't garbage, and also keep an eye out for the tread rating, you want tires that will last a long time. i was looking at khumo lx platinum tires a while back from tirerack, great price and crazy good treadwear rating.
