I've been putting a little bit of money away every month since I got my S13 to save for an SR swap. I was planning on getting the motor from Heavy Throttle since I have heard so many good things about them. Now that they're gone, I don't know where to look. So where is a good, reliable, reasonable place to get an SR from? I'm hoping I do not have to go down the eBay route. But if so, anyone have a good experience with a company in the NJ area?

hit up zerolift in cincinnati ohio. They are as reliable as your gonna get. Generally if they sold you a motor and it has a problem they will help you get what it needs to be running. They like to have a good image as we have had a few shops in ohio that get terrible reps then disapear and they dont want to disapear lol. Plus i think they are a sponser on nico too.

Thanks guys. Those places seem trust worthy, plus your input helps back them up.

Ive heard good things about http://www.elitejdm.com and http://www.jsamotors.com , they both have multi point inspections and compression test all engines, and they come with a warranty as long as you swap timing chain, water pump, oil/fuel filter, and spark plugs. I believe they both have technical assistance as well. Elite JDM doesn't have their website all set up very well, but they have a lot of stuff thats not listed and i think theyre from PA, might try giving them a call.

Elite JDM, has AMAZING service. Every motor is pulled correctly, not just "cut out"and every motor is tested before sold i believe. I would go with Elite especially since you are in NJ, Nick at Elite is in Philly so there ya go
